Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Diagnose mechanical problems using precision measuring instruments, and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment, including motors, belts, bearings, and other mechanical parts. Conduct tests and checks on machinery after repairs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring all components are functioning correctly. Inspect machinery and equipment regularly to identify defects or potential problems before they cause significant issues. Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm. The environment involves working with metal components such as steel or aluminum, which are cut, shaped, and welded to form structural components. The work includes frame assembly, surface attachment, and covering. The finishing process involves painting or powder-coating metal parts, and each product undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure safety and performance standards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seymour, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
