**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production and support equipment in a plant environment. The position requires a working knowledge of plant maintenance operations and the ability to handle chemicals for support equipment. This role operates on a 3rd shift schedule from 5pm to 3:30am, following a 410s schedule, with work every Wednesday and every other weekend off. **Responsibilities** + Maintain and repair production equipment such as pumps, pasteurizers, homogenizers, atomizers, evaporators, dryers, churns, valves, and baggers. + Maintain and repair support equipment including boilers, air-compressors, ammonia compressors, thermal storage units, condensers, vacuum pumps, ammonia systems, air conditioning units, sewer meters, conductivity meters, and water meters. + Handle chemicals for support equipment operation and conduct chemical testing of boiler feed water, condensate, cooling tower water, ice bank chilled water, and plant process water. + Read utilities daily. + Fabricate and manufacture equipment for production needs, including product and process piping, sanitary equipment, steam lines, chemical lines, and pneumatic lines. + Document all schematic and diagram changes to keep plant records current. + Work with minimal supervision, reporting daily work orders and activity reports. + Ensure all work is done in a timely and proper manner. + Collaborate effectively with employees throughout the plant. + Maintain regular and reliable attendance. + Follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Mechanical maintenance + Hydraulics + Pneumatics + Reading and interpreting schematics + PLC troubleshooting + Industrial maintenance + Welding + 3-phase electrical systems **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding is a plus. + Dairy experience is preferred. **Why Work Here?** We offer great internal benefits and a supportive work environment.
