Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Location: Scottsboro, AL

Shift: Day & Night Shifts Available

Pay: $30 - $35 per hour

Job Description:

Aerotek’s client in Scottsboro, AL is hiring experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians for both day and night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of a range of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key responsibilities include:

Electrical troubleshooting (working with 480V and 3-phase motors)Mechanical and electrical repairs on a wide variety of equipmentPerforming preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and reliability testingReading and interpreting blueprints and schematicsWorking with a variety of equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, chillers, boilers, air handling units, conveyors, and CNC machinesCollaborating with team members and working independently to ensure smooth operations and equipment functionality

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong electrical troubleshooting experience (480V, 3-phase motors)Experience with mechanical maintenance, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyorsProven ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsExperience with preventative maintenance and corrective repairsAbility to work with a wide range of equipment, including pumps, chillers, boilers, and CNC machinesExperience with Allen Bradley PLCs and basic PLC troubleshootingWelding and fabrication skills a plusStrong teamwork and independent work capabilities in a fast-paced environment

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to troubleshoot and maintain hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, servomotors, and other machinery componentsExperience with conveyor systems and automation systems is a plusPrevious experience in multi-craft maintenance is essential for success in this role

Compensation:

Hourly pay ranges from $30 - $35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00
