Job Description
The position requires a working knowledge of plant maintenance operations and the ability to handle chemicals for support equipment. This role operates on a 3rd shift schedule from 5pm to 3:30am, following a 410s schedule, with work every Wednesday and every other weekend off.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair production equipment such as pumps, pasteurizers, homogenizers, atomizers, evaporators, dryers, churns, valves, and baggers.Maintain and repair support equipment including boilers, air-compressors, ammonia compressors, thermal storage units, condensers, vacuum pumps, ammonia systems, air conditioning units, sewer meters, conductivity meters, and water meters.Handle chemicals for support equipment operation and conduct chemical testing of boiler feed water, condensate, cooling tower water, ice bank chilled water, and plant process water.Fabricate and manufacture equipment for production needs, including product and process piping, sanitary equipment, steam lines, chemical lines, and pneumatic lines.Document all schematic and diagram changes to keep plant records current.Work with minimal supervision, reporting daily work orders and activity reports.Ensure all work is done in a timely and proper manner.Collaborate effectively with employees throughout the plant.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.55 - $35.55
