Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

The maintenance technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in accordance with electrical diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications. The role involves performing root-cause analysis for all mechanical and electrical equipment and requires advanced skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment such as motors, pneumatic, conveyor, blending, scaling, filling, cartooning, coding/printing, electrical, compressed air, vacuum hydraulic, and bulk-filling systems.Perform root-cause analysis on mechanical and electrical equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical systems related to production and plant support equipment ranging from single-phase to three-phase equipment with voltages ranging from 5VDC to 480 VAC.Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layouts.Troubleshoot electrical wiring, relay logic, control, and safety circuits.Troubleshoot electronic boards, PLCs, touch screens, displays, contactors, and motors.Use and read a volt meter, amp meter, ohm meter, and other electrical testing equipment necessary for the facility.Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to power transmissions, chain and belt drives, cams, bearings, and actuators.Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic controls and components.Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting.Teardown and rebuild gearboxes, clutches, actuators, and other assemblies related to equipment repairs.Proficiently use all hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment such as drill press, surface grinders, torch, plasma cutter, pipe threader, breaks, presses, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments and test equipment.Fabricate parts, guarding, and parts modifications for equipment repairs and improvements, including MIG/TIG welding.Essential SkillsAdvanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Experience with PLC, troubleshooting, gearboxes, blueprints, and pneumatics.Ability to work with 480V systems.Experience in manufacturing maintenance and fabrication.Knowledge of actuators, electrical schematics, and relay logic.Experience in the food and beverage industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to perform root-cause analysis.Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment.Experience with HVAC troubleshooting.Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.MIG/TIG welding skills.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $66560.00
