**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician with over 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, as well as a solid understanding of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. This is a full-time position that requires a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. **Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance and repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic systems. + Interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. + Maintain electrical and pneumatic pumps and systems. + Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. + Perform some welding and torch cutting as needed. + Adhere to safety protocols and pass a physical, drug test, check prior to employment. + Work rotating shifts and be able to lift up to 50lbs. + Pass the required maintenance test. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience. + Experience repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems. + Knowledge of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. + Valid driver's license. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Electrical troubleshooting experience. + Experience with preventive maintenance. + Ability to perform welding and torch cutting. **Why Work Here?** Once hired on direct, this will be a union position with scheduled pay increases that will pay each person $18+/HR within their first 24 months. It is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The candidate will need to wear a respirator in certain areas depending on the work they will be doing. This environment will be standard for someone that has worked in the refractory industry before. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wampum, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.39 - $26.39 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
