About the teamIn this role, you will be joining the Maintenance and Facilities team. This team supports our warehouse by keeping a productive, clean, and well stocked work environment. As a member of the Facilities team, you will create a direct impact on fostering a positive culture throughout our warehouse. This role will work fully onsite.
What You’ll DoWe are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. The Maintenance Technician needs to be a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.Perform general maintenance repairs dailyWorking knowledge of automated conveyors, compressors, boilers, and related equipmentKnowledge of basic handyman functions; electrical, carpentry, painting, and plumbingAssist with installation of new equipment and ensure assets are in excellent working conditionImplement and execute safety as the highest priorityResolve issues throughout equipment life cycleKnowledge of Red TaggingBasic computer knowledge ex. Emails, MS OfficeValid driver’s licenseMust be a self-starter, have organizational skills and excellent customer serviceAbility to perform work at the highest expectation with minimum or no supervisionMust be physically able to perform maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs You may a good fit if you:Have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing is essential. How we work at The Black Tux Onsite TBT team members need to be in person working full-time (40 hours per week) from an office, warehouse, or showroom. The reason is that these roles require a physical presence to do their job with customers, team members, or at one of our locations. We host several onsite events where all our team members are welcome!
