Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a high-speed converting facility specializing in corrugated boxes. The facility operates with 11 primary machines, including high-speed converting equipment such as Specialty Folders, Compression Tables, and Die Cutters. This is a Just-In-Time facility, which means it operates under high pressure. The selected candidate will be responsible for keeping all equipment operational, as downtime is unacceptable. The role requires taking issues from screen to fault during troubleshooting, with 80% of the work being reactive and 20% preventative.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issues up to 480 volts.Maintain and repair motors, drives, gear systems, and pulleys.Handle pneumatic systems and ensure their proper functioning.Perform controls troubleshooting with Siemens, Wiege, and Mitsubishi Controls.Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment.Work on various equipment such as pumps, ink systems, rollers, conveyors, strappers, and changing belts.Essential SkillsExperience in the corrugated industry.Electrical troubleshooting up to 480 volts.Knowledge of motors and drives.Understanding of gear systems and pulleys.Proficiency in pneumatics.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with controls troubleshooting, including Siemens, Wiege, and Mitsubishi Controls.PLC troubleshooting skills.Mechanical skills for pump control and schematic reading.Experience with preventative maintenance and calibration.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Candidates must be flexible as shifts are 10 hours daily. The facility operates 24 hours per day, 6 days per week. Candidates must be able to work every other weekend. The current available shift is mornings/early shift Monday-Friday with hours between 5am-10pm. Candidates will choose 5 ten-hour shifts.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00
