Job Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic will provide maintenance support to two locations: The Main Street and the Freistadt location. The Maintenance Tech is to perform Preventive Maintenance, repairs, installations, and troubleshooting on all plant mechanical systems and production equipment, including fillers, processing, packaging, robotics, and automation equipment. The role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude to work on and repair pumps, motors, drives, valves, conveyors, and belts.
ResponsibilitiesPerform Preventive Maintenance on mechanical systems and production equipment.Repair, install, and troubleshoot fillers, processing, packaging, and robotics equipment.Work on and repair pumps, motors, drives, valves, conveyors, and belts.Apply mechanical aptitude to ensure efficient operation of all plant systems.Essential SkillsExperience in maintenance performing preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.Strong mechanical skills with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, belts, motors, pumps, and valves.Knowledge of GMP, PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyors, belts, electrical, mechanical, motors, pumps, valves, 480 volt, 3 phase, troubleshoot, repair, and schematic.Additional Skills & QualificationsMilitary mechanical experience (e.g., working on airplanes, trucks) is highly valued.Experience as a maintenance electrician, electro-mechanical technician, utility technician/Ammonia repair, or maintenance mechanic.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
3rd shift: 10 pm-6 am Mon-Fri. The environment is very warm and can be hot at times, and it is maintained very clean to adhere to GMP regulations. Strict production deadlines must be met. Employees are required to wear pants without frays or tears, hair nets, no jewelry, no piercings, and no nail polish. Uniforms will eventually be provided. An allowance is provided for steel-toed boots or composite shoes.
