**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to conduct preventive maintenance tasks, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, minor HVAC maintenance, and light painting, drywall, and carpentry work. This role is essential for maintaining the functionality and appearance of our commercial buildings.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as filter changes, belt replacements, and equipment inspections.
+ Replace light bulbs, ballasts, fixtures, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers.
+ Perform routine plumbing maintenance, including checking temperature and pressure relief valves, fixing leaks, and maintaining drains and pipes.
+ Replace air filters, clean condenser coils, check refrigerant levels, and repair minor HVAC issues.
+ Clean and inspect air handlers, replace worn parts, and repair faulty thermostats or clogged air filters.
+ Perform light painting, drywall, and carpentry work.
+ Manage vendor relationships and scheduling.
+ Handle routine outside maintenance and some interior preventive maintenance tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ CFC Universal certification
+ Plumbing skills
+ Electrical skills
+ Building maintenance experience
+ Experience with pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, and pneumatic systems
+ Preventive maintenance experience

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a multi-building campus with approximately 300,000 sq ft of standard office space and some flex space. The work environment involves routine maintenance tasks both inside and outside the buildings, requiring attention to safety protocols and effective communication. Dress code is casual but professional.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Chantilly, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
