**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to maintain and operate printing equipment, including printing presses, gluers, cylinders, plate locks, hydraulics, PLCs, HMI, bearings, gears, belts, and rolestands. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and replace faulty electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic components, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Maintain printing equipment including printing presses, gluers, cylinders, plate locks, hydraulics, PLCs, HMI, bearings, gears, belts, and rolestands. + Operate machines as needed to learn the process and pinpoint equipment issues. + Complete scheduled preventative maintenance, including greasing gears and bearings. + Diagnose and replace faulty electrical motors, relays, switches, and sensors. + Diagnose, repair, or replace faulty pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic components. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude with experience in bearings, gears, belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics. + Experience troubleshooting PLCs and HMI. + Experience in a manufacturing environment. + Openness to operating equipment in addition to performing maintenance. + Ability to work on a team and collaborate with others. + Teaching operators what to look for when a machine breaks down. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a printing environment (nice to have). **Why Work Here?** We offer great benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage through United Healthcare at a very affordable rate. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, safety glasses, jeans, and a t-shirt. The shift available is from 3 pm to 11 pm, with flexibility on start and stop times by 1 or 2 hours as business needs dictate, typically running from Wednesday to Sunday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
