**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves the repair and maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, conveyor systems, and more. The candidate must be available for third shift work from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday, with overtime as needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and safely.
+ Perform periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned and according to schedule.
+ Handle hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.
+ Conduct major overhauls of equipment, fabricate parts, and install and adjust air conditioning and heating systems.
+ Perform daily inspection of doors, dock plates, banana rooms, and other building and support areas.
+ Recognize and repair problems before breakdowns occur.
+ Independently troubleshoot and repair problems using advanced skills, including electronic repair and programmable control.
+ Repair racks, replace batteries and chargers as needed, and replace damaged or burned-out lighting fixtures.
+ Maintain and repair ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
+ Maintain complete repair order records.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least four years of experience or training in the maintenance field with current state and local licenses.
+ Background in electronics, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, and general building repairs.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting, machine repair, preventive maintenance, and forklift operation.
+ Experience with HVAC systems, automotive technician work, and mechanical troubleshooting.
+ Ability to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under equipment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to operate pallet jacks and diagnostic equipment.
+ Mental alertness to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities.
+ Ability to learn and follow company policies regarding safe operations of forklifts and maintenance-related equipment.
+ Ability to read and comprehend all labeling on hazardous materials and equipment in the facility.
+ Must provide own tools.

**Work Environment**
Most work is performed under typical warehouse conditions where standard hazards exist with machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, and the movement of tractors and trailers. The role requires working in various conditions, including high places and ground level.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.10 - $29.70
