Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our reverse osmosis and ion exchange facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in water treatment systems, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on water facility, reverse osmosis, and ion exchange equipmentTroubleshoot and repair water treatment systems, including RO membranes and ion exchange resinsAssist in the installation and commissioning of new equipmentAlways follow safety regulations and environmental standardsConducting regular inspections of facility structures, equipment, and groundsCoordinate with operations team to minimize downtime during maintenance activitiesParticipate in technical training to enhance skills and knowledgeMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performanceContribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility efficiencyRespond to emergency maintenance calls as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalentMinimum 1 years of experience in industrial maintenanceExperience with reverse osmosis technologiesBasic knowledge of electrical systems, PLC programming, and instrumentationExcellent communication, problem solving, and teamwork skillsAbility to perform physical duties (lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and confined spaces)Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsBasic ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDsCapable of handling and lifting 50 lbs.Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime and on-call rotationsProficiency in using computer with Microsoft and Google SuitesValid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel for installations and repairs as needed

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and working in confined spaces3+ years of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance experienceComfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to chemicals and noise

● Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles.  The range is
not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills,
experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.  Depending upon all the preceding
considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the
stated range: $27.00-$32.60 USD / HR
