**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for following all safety and company policies, performing regular inspections of equipment, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and maintaining good housekeeping standards. You will also ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirements. Additionally, you will complete all necessary paperwork accurately and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow all safety and company policies and procedures, including maintaining good housekeeping and reporting any issues, accidents, or incidents immediately.
+ Complete online safety training each month as assigned.
+ Level and parallel rolls, make required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance.
+ Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify mechanical/electrical issues and disassemble, repair, replace bearings, seals, gears, etc., as needed.
+ Complete paperwork neatly and correctly in accordance with company guidelines.
+ Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical problems of plant machinery using precision maintenance techniques.
+ Follow up with work orders to ensure problems are repaired properly.
+ Perform maintenance functions and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime by completing regular preventive maintenance.
+ Work within specifications and drawings, ensuring completion and minimizing waste within set dates and times.
+ Ensure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve results.
+ Work with the maintenance crew to conduct maintenance and repair projects in mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, and welding functions.
+ Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including federal/state environmental systems, OSHA Safety and Health rules, fire and electrical safety codes, and standard operating procedures.
+ Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including management, employees, and vendors.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, computers in an industrial environment, including hardware, software configuration, and troubleshooting, network configuration, and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, PLC’s, and motors.
+ Strong maintenance, plumbing, and electrical background in AC/DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes.
+ Well-organized and able to maintain a clean working area.
+ Regular and predictable attendance.
+ Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ GED or high school diploma.
+ 3+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of technical school education and experience.
+ Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience and overall maintenance functions.
+ Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
+ Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
+ Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Strong work ethic with emphasis on safety.
+ Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
+ Preferred: 7+ years related experience and/or training.
+ Preferred: Corrugated experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $72800.00
