Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for efficiently performing all work orders and turnovers. Maintenance Technicians should have a high level of trades experience and participate in maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and quality of the property.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and perform all necessary repairs and replacements to apartments in the areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry for all systems, equipment, appliances, and components.Respond to all service requests, apartment turnovers, and on-call emergencies in a timely and professional manner.Report any problems and/or issues relating to safety or management of the property to the immediate supervisor.Available for weekend work, on-call rotation, and emergency service call duties.Essential SkillsExperience in maintenance technician, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and mechanical systems.Skills in electrical repair, service, HVAC, drywall, carpentry, and plumbing.Must provide own set of hand tools, or accommodations can be made.Knowledge of all hand and power tools, cleaning supplies, and protective equipment.Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage unhappy customers and/or difficult situations.Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions as needed.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with on-call duties every third week, including evenings and weekends.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00
