**Maintenance Technician - Grand Rapids, MI** **Job Description** As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs on converting lines and extrusion lines. Your primary tasks will include replacing or repairing hydraulic cylinders, repairing pneumatic lines, and running with the preventative maintenance schedule. You will also handle additional mechanical repairs such as gears, motors, drives, bearings, and electrical work with 480 V and 3 phase motors. You must have experience with PLC programs, including editing, troubleshooting, and making adjustments for process improvements. **Responsibilities** + Perform repairs on converting lines and extrusion lines. + Replace or repair hydraulic cylinders and pneumatic lines. + Run with the preventative maintenance schedule. + Handle mechanical repairs to gears, motors, drives, and bearings. + Perform electrical work with 480 V and 3 phase motors. + Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems, including Siemens. + Ensure understanding and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. + Repair and maintenance experience with industrial equipment. + Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, editing, and adjustments. + Experience working with 480-volt electrical systems. + Ability to follow and manage a preventative maintenance schedule. + 3+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting (bearings, gears, pumps, motors). **Why Work Here?** This is an exciting opportunity to work in a brand-new facility with state-of-the-art equipment.
