**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
The main function of a Maintenance Technician is to maintain plant and equipment in good working order, while providing guidance and support to other team members on shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Keep management informed of any plant maintenance issues.
+ Repair and maintain all plant equipment and areas.
+ Actively support and implement preventative maintenance programs.
+ Perform welding and electrical work.
+ Troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs.
+ Ensure repairs and maintenance work minimally affect production time.
+ Follow all corporate and regulatory food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
+ Attend required training, including but not limited to GMPs, HAACP, SQF, and Safety.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned, including on-call and weekend work.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 year mechanical experience required, 2+ years preferred.
+ Experience in welding and electrical work.
+ Ability to read, speak, and understand both oral and written English.
+ Problem-solving skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
+ Basic computer knowledge.
+ Ability to use independent judgment in planning and organizing multiple tasks.
+ Strong initiative and follow-through on day-to-day responsibilities.
+ Ability to pass a BG check and physical/drug screen.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED preferred.
+ Experience in electrical, mechanical, schematic, HVAC, blueprint, PLC troubleshooting, industrial maintenance, welding, PLC control, electrical troubleshooting, 3-phase, maintenance repair, plumbing, installation, and motors.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes standing, twisting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift. You will be lifting, carrying, and lowering weights ranging from 60 to 120 pounds. The job involves repetitive hand/wrist movements and requires standing for long periods. Shifts are 8 hours long and can vary between 6 AM and 6 PM, with some weekend work required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of WINTHROP, MN.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $48766.00 - $66040.00
