Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance HVAC Technician is responsible for safely and effectively repairing and maintaining the HVAC systems essential to the production of plants in our nurseries and company-owned facilities and properties. This role will also assist in other maintenance-related activities as needed. **Responsibilities** + Repair and maintain HVAC equipment such as unit heaters and residential systems. + Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, and repair equipment in a timely manner. + Learn and understand the function and intended use of company equipment. + Provide maintenance and construction support for projects and problem resolution. + Perform repairs, maintenance, and construction of basic 110V and 24V electrical systems. + Maintain and repair greenhouse space heaters as needed. + Learn and understand plumbing and irrigation systems throughout the nursery, providing repairs, maintenance, and construction support. **Essential Skills** + Three or more years of experience in an HVAC Technician role within residential, commercial, or industrial settings. + Experience in troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, service manuals, electrical schematics, blueprints, and work orders. + Proficiency with power tools and hand tools. + Experience in preventive maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems. + Understanding of boiler, air conditioning, furnace, heating, and ventilation systems.
