**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance on a variety of machines throughout the plant. This role involves electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing machinery and equipment breakdowns, as well as performing preventative maintenance and recording work orders in the SAP system. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, and install mechanical and electrical equipment/machinery, including machines, conveyor systems, 3-phase motors, pneumatic and hydraulic components, and production line equipment. + Repair or replace chains, belt conveyors, gearboxes, and drive chains. + Perform PLC and VFD troubleshooting and replacement. + Repair and troubleshoot mechanical power transmissions. + Repair and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems. + Conduct machine center troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and preventative maintenance. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical maintenance + Pneumatics + Preventive maintenance + Electrical troubleshooting + Industrial maintenance + Mechanical troubleshooting + Blueprint and schematic reading + PLC troubleshooting and control **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanically inclined + Experience and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventative maintenance + Knowledge of power transmission + Troubleshooting A/C and D/C motors + Repairing and troubleshooting 480V, 3-phase motors, Variable Frequency Drives + Repairing and troubleshooting mechanical power transmission **Work Environment** This is a non-union position, following union guidelines and point systems with more flexibility. Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing plant, with exposure to extreme heat and cold. The team consists of 8 maintenance mechanics across shifts, with this opening for the 3rd shift. Training will be provided on the 1st shift.
