Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Pay: $60K - $70K** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on all equipment, building maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing the processing and packaging equipment. **Responsibilities** + Perform repair and preventative maintenance on equipment, machines, buildings, and grounds to support fluid milk processing, packaging, and storage operations. + Demonstrate the ability to work independently without supervision. + Be recognized by peers and production leaders as a competent mechanic with effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Understand the importance of equipment run time and exhibit a sense of urgency. + Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment. + Adhere to all good manufacturing and safety practices as defined by the employer. **Essential Skills** + Experience with three or more of the following: Electrical-mechanical systems troubleshooting using schematics, Industrial refrigeration systems, Hydraulic systems, PLC systems and plant automation, Food industry processing/packaging equipment. + Hands-on welding experience. + Experience with preventive maintenance work-order systems and ability to prioritize tasks to achieve plant operation goals. + Basic computer skills with Excel, Word, and Outlook. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with milk fillers and/or food industry processing/packaging equipment. **Why Work Here?** Employees benefit from a pension plan, with $9 per hour contributed towards their pension. **Work Environment** Work in a food environment where safety is paramount.
