Job Description

This mechanical maintenance position involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues on various machines. The equipment includes bearing machines, wire cutting machines, shape enders, centerless grinders, and motors. A significant task will be rebuilding gearboxes, which will take up a considerable portion of the time. Understanding manuals to replace parts or bearings on machines is essential. Additionally, this role involves working on hydraulic pumps and various types of motors, requiring the ability to troubleshoot these components effectively.

Work Environment

Work hours for the 3rd shift are 11 PM to 7:30 AM, with training on the day shift (7 AM to 3 PM) for up to two months. There is plenty of opportunity for overtime. For some locations, employees may stay on the day shift for up to a year and a half. Employees receive a $1/hour shift premium once they move to the off shift, with raises upon going direct and yearly reviews to keep increasing pay.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
