Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will primarily work on production machinery, but will also have responsibilities related to the facility. As a multi-tech, you will handle both mechanical and electrical breakdowns. The production machines include various types of injection presses and vacuum injection machines. Strong knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatic components, including reading schematics, is essential. You will be responsible for troubleshooting valves, cylinders, pistons, and overall plumbing, as well as working on 3-phase motors and variable frequency drives. This is an automated, high-volume automotive supplier facility.

ResponsibilitiesWork on production machinery and facility-related tasks.Handle mechanical and electrical breakdowns.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic components.Read and interpret schematics.Troubleshoot valves, cylinders, pistons, and overall plumbing.Work on 3-phase motors and variable frequency drives.Use a volt meter to ensure proper power for troubleshooting.Basic PLC troubleshooting, including checking for error lights and starting the machine troubleshoot process.Essential SkillsExperience in a manufacturing facility.Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.Ability to perform lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.Experience with 480v systems and using a volt meter.3-phase motor troubleshooting and replacement experience.Variable frequency drive experience, including changing parameters.Basic PLC troubleshooting experience, including systems such as Mitsubishi, Omron.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with injection presses in plastics or rubber.Robot experience with systems such as Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Cepro, Toshiba.Servo motor troubleshooting experience.HVAC experience.Why Work Here?

The work environment is clean and fast-paced. As a top-tier automotive supplier, we require technicians to be open to working overtime and wearing multiple hats. This is a 3rd shift opportunity with regular 8-hour shifts and the possibility of overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00
