**Maintenance Technician** **$25-35/hr** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all production and facilities maintenance in a food and beverage environment. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring a safe environment compliant with GMP code for food and beverage manufacturing. **Responsibilities** + Perform all production and facilities maintenance in a food and beverage environment. + Conduct preventive maintenance on conveyors, mixers, and blenders. + Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues. + Maintain a safe environment up to GMP code for food and beverage manufacturing. + Repair and maintain lighting, doors, and perform painting tasks. + Install doors and complete other facilities maintenance tasks. **Essential Skills** + 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience in food and beverage manufacturing preferred. + Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. + Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures. + Knowledge of GMP codes for food and beverage manufacturing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding experience, particularly TIG welding, is strongly preferred. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position with great benefits when permanent, including PTO, vision, dental, medical, and 401k matching. Steel toe shoes are required. The shifts are 7 AM to 7 PM (1 opening) and 7 PM to 7 AM (4 openings) on a 2-2-3 shift schedule, meaning you will work every other weekend. It is a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
