**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the D shift (11:30pm - 6am). This position involves performing preventative maintenance on plastic molding machines and auxiliary equipment, as well as installing and repairing various machinery. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance on plastic molding machines and auxiliary equipment in compliance with schedule. + Make adjustments to preventative maintenance programs. + Perform installation and repair of grinders, thermulators, chillers, and other ancillary equipment. + Accurately troubleshoot issues during production, with 80% being mechanical (e.g., replacing gears, motors, fans) and 20% electrical (e.g., wiring repair on 480 volt machines). + Use problem-solving tools to verify the true root cause of maintenance issues. + Actively participate in creating and maintaining a safe working environment while improving plant operations. + Install and transfer equipment as necessary. + Perform facilities maintenance, such as repairing floor fans or overhead cranes. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of maintenance experience. + Mechanical strength in hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, preventive maintenance, and installation. + 2-5 years of plastic injection molding experience. + Associate's Degree, Trade, or Technical Support or Equivalent. + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic systems. + Electrical circuit experience. + Experience or knowledge of injection molding machines. + Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read schematics and blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with robots and automation equipment. + PLC troubleshooting. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive wages, a rich benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off (PTO), short and long term disability (STD/LTD), paid holidays, a 401K plan with matching, tuition reimbursement, and an employee referral bonus program. Vending machines are also available. The plant is not temperature controlled and can become quite warm due to the injection molding machines.
