**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position involves executing equipment repairs, completing preventive maintenance, and performing equipment change-overs as required by the production schedule. The role is essential to maintaining a smooth operation within our chemical manufacturing plant. **Responsibilities** + Execute equipment repairs in a timely manner. + Complete preventive maintenance service. + Perform timely equipment change-overs as required by the production schedule. + Maintain an established comprehensive P.M. schedule on assigned equipment. + Assist in equipment rebuilding activities and review assigned equipment for project rebuilding. + Make timely repairs as directed by the engineering department. + Assist operators on equipment set-ups to ensure proper operations. + Requisition parts, components, supplies, and equipment for the maintenance area. + Provide training to plant personnel in the control of equipment and processes. + Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards. + Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Electrical, Pneumatic, and Mechanical troubleshooting. + Timely troubleshooting skills to limit downtime due to breakdowns. + 2+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines. + High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher a plus. + Effective verbal and written English communication skills. + Ability to work overtime and nights as required. + Familiarity with manufacturing chemical plant operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with 480v electrical systems. + Preventive maintenance expertise. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + PLC troubleshooting and control knowledge. + Welding skills. + Must provide one’s own tools required to perform job responsibilities. **Why Work Here?** Join our dynamic team and be a part of a company that values your skills and contributions. Shifts are available from 5am - 5pm Monday through Thursday with occasional Friday work, and from 5pm - 5am Monday through Thursday with occasional Friday work. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MEDINA, Ohio **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $41.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
