Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to assist in the safe, efficient, and responsible operation of our facility in its mission to produce safe and legal products. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing complete line changeovers, troubleshooting machinery malfunctions, conducting preventative maintenance, and making necessary repairs without instruction. **Responsibilities** + Perform complete line changeovers including fillers, seamers, crowners, and cappers. + Troubleshoot machinery malfunctions including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic issues without instructions. + Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on all line and processing machinery including lubrication and heat/vibration analysis. + Maintain and repair production supporting equipment such as glycol systems, compressed air systems, lubrication, and chemical distribution systems. + Perform welding tasks (Arc, TiG, and MiG) as required. + Troubleshoot minor parameter issues within a PLC. + Minimize production downtime through effective troubleshooting and extended measures. + Complete, document, and obtain final approvals on all assigned work orders, including recording all utilized part numbers for inventory purposes. + Communicate all relevant maintenance and production-related information to the relieving shift effectively. + Minimize downtime, improve efficiency, and assist in training other maintenance personnel. + Communicate with production during periods of downtime. **Essential Skills** + Ability to perform complete line changeovers and adjust equipment to specified tolerances. + Proficiency in troubleshooting machinery malfunctions including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic issues. + Capability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs without instructions. + Skill in maintaining and repairing production supporting equipment. + Proficiency in welding (Arc, TiG, and MiG). + Ability to troubleshoot minor PLC parameter issues. + Strong documentation and communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices). + Adherence to Food Safety procedures and principles. + Ability to work without supervision. + Willingness to complete project work as assigned by a supervisor. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits available from the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
