**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general preventative maintenance on all lines, machines, robots, conveyors, and other equipment in an automotive seating manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring smooth operations in a Just in Time (JIT) facility. **Responsibilities** + Perform general preventative maintenance on all lines, machines, robots, and conveyors. + Maintain automotive seating manufacturing equipment in a Just in Time plant. + Diagnose and repair equipment issues promptly and efficiently. + Troubleshoot equipment including Fanuc Robots, Conveyors, Seating Lines, Pneumatics, and PLCs. + Work with electrical systems including 480v 3 phase and 12 volt DC. + Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC systems. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of experience in a maintenance-related position, preferably in a Just in Time facility. + Experience with 480v 3 phase electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, and conveyors. + Ability to read an electric meter. + Must have own tools (a $450 tool allowance provided after direct hire). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Fanuc robots. + Knowledge of hydraulics and preventive maintenance. + Capability in maintenance repair and Just in Time compiler. **Why Work Here?** Join a union shop that offers great benefits and the potential for overtime. Enjoy job stability with the opportunity for hire off contract in three months. **Work Environment** This is a Just in Time (JIT) facility supplying seats to Camaro and Cadillac for General Motors (GM). The facility operates 3 shifts for the production of foam seating for GM and is highly automated with Fanuc robots and conveyor systems. Openings are available on 2nd shift (2PM-10PM) with potential flexibility to move to 1st or 3rd shift based on seniority. Currently, the team is working every other Saturday, with 45-55 hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
