Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing all general maintenance projects, both preventative and emergency. This includes the operation and testing of filling equipment, pumps, mixers, compressors, labelers, and sleeving equipment. You will also assist in developing and administering a PM schedule, updating PM checklists, maintaining records in accordance with production department and GMP requirements, and developing a complete library of parts and operating manuals for equipment and plant. You will be responsible for maintenance tools and parts inventory, recommending and costing equipment and parts to complete PM projects, and operating heavy equipment including fork trucks and power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders. **Responsibilities** + Perform all general maintenance projects, both preventative and emergency. + Operate and test filling equipment, pumps, mixers, compressors, labelers, and sleeving equipment. + Assist in the development and administration of a PM schedule. + Update all PM checklists and maintain records in accordance with production department and GMP requirements. + Develop a complete library of parts and operating manuals for equipment and plant. + Manage maintenance tools and parts inventory. + Recommend and cost equipment and parts to complete PM projects. + Operate heavy equipment including fork trucks. + Operate power tools including drills, saws, and grinders. + Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the equipment and facilities. **Essential Skills** + Flexible and adaptable in performing a wide range of maintenance duties and functions. + Aptitude and experience in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system repairs and maintenance. + General math skills. + Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing (in English) with vendors and managers. + General computer and email competency. + Experience with high speed net weigh fillers, automated cappers, close tolerance gear driven pump fillers, pressure sensitive and auto sleeve labelers and printers, automated palletizing equipment, automated carton forming, and case packing equipment. + Experience with 24 vdc low voltage, circuit boards, and servo motors. + 5+ years of maintenance experience. + 5+ years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company with a new building and plenty of room for internal growth. The facility is climate controlled, though slightly dusty around machinery due to working with powders. Overall, it is a clean facility. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
