Pay Rate: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of machinery and plant equipment. From troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues to fabricating repair parts, your skills will help improve plant efficiency and ensure a safe and clean working environment. You’ll be integral in our maintenance programs, helping to develop and improve both preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Identify and address issues with machinery by observing operations, listening for problems, and using precision measuring/testing tools.Fabrication: Use maintenance shop machinery to fabricate repair parts and other needed items.Preventive Maintenance: Complete scheduled maintenance on plant equipment to ensure everything runs reliably.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, permits, and inventory sheets.Team Collaboration: Work with the Maintenance Management team to improve preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance programs.Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols and offer suggestions to improve safety and GMP practices.Food Safety: Follow food safety procedures to uphold our high standards in food manufacturing.Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Experience & Education:1-year technical certificate with 2+ years of experience, OR2-year technical degree in industrial maintenance or engineering, OR3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, OR3+ years as an Advanced Apprentice and Journeyman level Tradesperson.Broad Skill Set: Experience in carpentry, mechanical machinery repair, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, welding, and metal fabrication.Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical systems.Continuous Learning: A willingness to learn new skills and improve upon existing ones.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an industrial food manufacturing environment is a plus!Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform overhead work.Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds occasionally.Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and potentially hazardous situations.Why Join Us?
