At Saint-Gobain NorPro, we’re looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to play a key role in keeping our plant running at peak performance! As a vital part of our team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our process equipment through a variety of tasks in our Preventative Maintenance System, ensuring our operations stay efficient and downtime is minimized.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of everything from scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to identifying issues alongside production operators. You’ll work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to keep everything running smoothly. Your role will include:

 

Maintaining Equipment: Stay ahead of the game by performing regular maintenance, following the Preventive Maintenance program through the CMMS system, and completing work orders in a timely, efficient manner. Tackling Unscheduled Maintenance: Quickly respond to breakdowns and resolve issues to minimize downtime and keep operations flowing seamlessly. Collaborating with Teams: Work closely with management and production operators to identify problems, ensuring your expertise keeps things running on schedule. Handling Facility Repairs: Assist with facility maintenance like snow removal and building repairs—no day is ever the same! Safety First: You’ll adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all.
