Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Responsible for performing daily maintenance and repairs of production equipment in the facility to ensure all equipment is operating at full production capacity. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain support and manufacturing equipment and machinery, including mixers, conveyors, gas fired ovens, boilers, sealers, and label printers. + Work on mechanical components such as gears, drives, and conveyors. + Perform electrical troubleshooting, change out drives, and adjust parameters. + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance accurately and timely. + Analyze test results, error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose and recommend equipment repairs. + Perform lockout/tag out procedures as needed to secure equipment according to guidelines. + Ensure adherence to equipment, fire, and electrical safety procedures during plant walk-throughs. **Essential Skills** + Hydraulics + Pneumatics + Repair + 3 phase + Preventive Maintenance + Corrective Maintenance + Equipment Maintenance + Troubleshooting + Mechanical Troubleshooting + Electrical Troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous manufacturing experience preferred, with a strong emphasis on food manufacturing/production. + Experience working on conveyors and performing preventative maintenance, such as changing belts or adjusting belts, changing motors, greasing motors and bearings, and working with three-phase motors (480 Volt). + Maintenance technician experience, PLC troubleshooting, and fabrication skills. + Around 3-4 years’ experience performing maintenance functions in a manufacturing facility required. + Knowledge of electrical and machine control. + Prior experience with TIG welding stainless and aluminum or refrigeration and HVAC is a plus. **Work Environment** Kitchen: dealing with food, so you need to be comfortable in hot/cold environments as well as wet/dry environments. It is a diverse work environment, and you must be able to work alongside other employees/operators who speak various languages. The shift is on the day shift. **Location** This position is based out of Richmond, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
