**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
This position is primarily responsible for assisting with grounds patrol, trash/debris pick up, and general maintenance during the work week. An important element of this position is to note and report issues while out in the field. Working with the Facilities team and property manager(s), this position also performs a variety of basic tasks and assists with routine repairs and maintenance of the properties. This position uses hand and power tools. The moving of furniture and materials may also be required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist with grounds patrol and trash/debris pick up.
+ Perform general maintenance tasks during the work week.
+ Note and report issues while out in the field.
+ Work with the Facilities team and property manager(s) to perform basic tasks and routine repairs.
+ Use hand and power tools for various maintenance tasks.
+ Move furniture and materials as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Experience in preventive maintenance.
+ Ability to perform electrical, HVAC, and general repair work.
+ Skills in troubleshooting, mechanical tasks, painting, and drywall.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma and 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
+ Accuracy, consistency, and excellent attention to detail.
+ Effective communication skills and ability to follow handwritten and verbal direction.
+ Ability to respond to immediate changes in job assignments based on priority situations.
+ Ability to work well both independently and with a team.
+ Good customer service skills.
+ Ability to accept constructive criticism.
+ General computer skills.
+ Ability to track and follow projects to completion.
+ Good safety track record.
+ Valid Washington driver’s license.
+ Ability to pass post offer, pre employment compliance checks.

**Work Environment**
The physical demands of this job include prolonged periods of physical activity such as bending, squatting, twisting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crawling, lifting, climbing, shoveling, reaching, and working from ladders, lifts, or vehicles/heavy equipment. The role frequently requires lifting 30-pound roll-up garage doors and may involve lifting up to 75 pounds at times. Employees must be able to operate machinery, equipment, and tools and frequently communicate with customers and co-workers. The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings under various weather conditions, including sun, rain, snow, and wind. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an on-call rotation once a month.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Issaquah, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
