**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician
**Job Description:** The maintenance technician is responsible for maintaining production equipment, machinery, and the building. This includes machine set-up, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Perform preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
+ Troubleshoot malfunctions using diagrams, sketches, manuals, and specifications.
+ Provide emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
+ Prepare machinery for scheduled production runs.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
+ Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools.
+ Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
+ Perform electronic adjustments and repairs to robotic equipment.
+ Install, start up, and shut down equipment safely.
+ Inform management and engineers of potential problems.
+ Perform building maintenance and repairs.
+ Communicate with associates, engineers, and supervisors about equipment issues.
+ Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
+ Provide technical support for future production activities.
+ Identify production efficiencies and improvements as part of a cross-functional team.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills:** Electrical troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, preventative maintenance, blueprint reading, 3-phase electrical systems, conveyor systems, industrial maintenance, motors, wiring, machine repair, fabrication.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**
+ Strong experience in machine, equipment, and building maintenance.
+ Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
+ Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and work under strict timelines.
+ Effective communication with production associates, engineers, and supervisors.
+ Proficiency in processing paperwork and maintaining computer records.
+ Reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime.
+ Team-oriented mindset.
+ Preferred: Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, experience with PLCs or industrial sewing machines, forklift experience, welding experience, ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently.

**Work Environment:** Smaller, climate-controlled facility with about 50-100 employees, housing machinery such as injection molding machines, hydraulic presses, and pneumatic glue machines. Typical work hours: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime and Saturdays.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
