Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Shift: 2nd shift 1pm-12am Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $32.43/hour

Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in ensuring the operational efficiency of our plant machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work collaboratively to identify and implement improvements.

ResponsibilitiesFollow all Plant, Safety, Quality, and Lockout/Tagout regulationsRead, interpret, and work from schematics, sketches, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsMaintain operational tasks of plant machinery and equipment, ensuring Safety and QualityTroubleshoot electrical components and replace/reprogram VFDsSafely operate shop equipment including Lathe, Drill press, Hydraulic press, MIG/TIG weldMake and repair parts such as shafts, guards, flanges, and pipesWork from different heights on scaffolding, mechanical lifts, and ladders as a last resortDemonstrate performance in correcting machine failures, preventative maintenance, and developing working relationships with fellow employees and managementAnalyze data to make effective decisionsWork with others to identify opportunities for improving machinery and maintenance systemsBecome certified in Ammonia/Boiler RoomsPerform other tasks as assigned by supervisor, department manager, or plant leadershipEssential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED5+ Years as a Maintenance TechnicianWorking knowledge of electrical motors and industrial electrical controls, including design, wiring, and troubleshooting of advanced motor control and safety circuitsAbility to safely operate shop equipment including Lathe, Drill press, Hydraulic press, MIG/TIG weldAbility to read, interpret, and work from schematics, sketches, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PLC systems preferredWhy Work Here?
