Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for an **entry level** and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure minimal interruption to production. We encourage anyone with any maintenance tech experience to apply! **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance such as changing oil, maintaining fluids, replacing batteries, and changing filters. + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including rebuilding machinery, repairing gearboxes, replacing motors, seals, and turrets, and replacing hydraulic/pneumatic hoses and cylinders. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including 480V, 3-phase motors, sensors, fuses, relays, proximity switches, photoeyes, VFD faults, drives, electrical wiring, and control panels using a multimeter. + Maintain preventative maintenance programs in assigned areas. + Repair production equipment with minimal interruption to production. + Inspect, dismantle, service, reassemble, test, and adjust equipment for safe and proper operation. + Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Interpret blueprints and schematics for machines and buildings. + Use basic shop tools such as lathes, mills, drill presses, saws, and grinders. + Maintain a clean and orderly work area and take proper care of tools and equipment. + Maintain a positive working relationship with all employees. + Provide ideas/solutions for equipment improvement and participate in miscellaneous improvement teams. + Install and relocate equipment and air/power services. + Work on ladders, scissor lifts, and industrial powered equipment. + Maintain buildings and grounds as needed. + Comply with all EHS and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures. **Essential Skills** + Self-motivated with the aptitude to work independently. + Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience. + Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience, including 480V, 3-phase motors, servo motors, and electrical faults. + Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. + Proficiency in using basic shop tools. + Familiarity with ePAC software for recording and finding information. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + PLC troubleshooting (input/output) + Welding and fabrication skills **Why Work Here?** Join a team that offers diverse product offerings, making the company recession-proof. There is some flexibility with hours, and training will be on the 1st shift for three weeks. The facility includes 4 production lines, and the technician will work alongside a team of technicians and supervisors to maintain various equipment such as conveyors, hot plates, CNC machines, and more. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
