**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will receive work assignments along with drawings, schematics, sketches, or other data. You will set up and operate common machine shop equipment, use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments, diagnose, repair, and maintain all basic electrical and mechanical equipment including N/C burn machines, hydraulic shears, press brakes, saws, and cranes. Additionally, you will fabricate miscellaneous weldments using various types of welding equipment, perform machinery rigging, loading, unloading, and moving, and modify and install mechanical equipment. Troubleshooting PLCs and frequency drives is also required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive work assignments along with necessary drawings, schematics, sketches, or other data.
+ Set up and operate common machine shop equipment.
+ Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.
+ Diagnose, repair, and maintain all basic electrical and mechanical equipment.
+ Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
+ Fabricate miscellaneous weldments using various types of welding equipment.
+ Perform machinery rigging, loading, unloading, and moving.
+ Modify and install mechanical equipment.
+ Troubleshoot PLCs and frequency drives.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
+ 2+ years of electrical troubleshooting.
+ Experience with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
+ Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
+ Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and frequency drives.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in fabricating miscellaneous weldments.
+ Ability to perform machinery rigging, loading, unloading, and moving.

**Work Environment**
This position is for the 2nd shift, from 3pm to 11pm. Overtime is usually available every other Saturday, with the option to sign up for more depending on your appetite. Training will occur on the 1st shift for at least 2-3 weeks, with quicker transitions accommodated based on progression and situation.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $72363.20 - $72363.29/yr.
