**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** This position is a multi-craft maintenance role. The primary responsibility is to troubleshoot equipment in the facility to ensure it is up and functioning properly. The facility houses various large corrugated box machines with numerous hydraulic components, sensors, and different types of conveyors. These machines process paper, glue it together, and assemble it for the final product. The role includes performing preventive maintenance (PM) and adhering to a PM schedule. Long-term responsibilities will also include facilities maintenance, such as PM on HVAC systems and dock doors. The candidate must be capable of electrical troubleshooting and reading schematics. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functionality. + Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on various machines and adhere to the PM schedule. + Maintain facilities including HVAC systems and dock doors. + Read and interpret electrical schematics. + Handle electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. + Use a volt meter for troubleshooting. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read schematics + Electrical troubleshooting + Mechanical troubleshooting + Proficiency in using a volt meter + Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems + Familiarity with PLCs, blueprints, and three-phase motors **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous box manufacturing experience (preferred) **Why Work Here?** The position offers competitive compensation with opportunities for overtime pay. **Saturdays are paid at 1.5x, Sundays at double time, and working on one of the 10 paid holidays results in triple pay.** The role provides excellent perks and the **potential to earn up to $100k annually.** **Work Environment** The shift work hours are **7 PM - 1 AM from Monday to Wednesday, and 12-hour shifts from 7 PM - 7 AM on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday/Sunday.** The **work environment is super clean, climate-controlled,** with a lot of cardboard in the facility. The dress code requires wearing jeans and steel-toed shoes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of **New Carlisle, Indiana.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $70000.00/yr. they offer: Medical, dental, vision, short term, life - they also have a 401k plan.
