Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and programmable logic controls (PLCs). This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and systems, leading to minimal downtime and optimal productivity.

ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to production.Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical components, including conveyors, pumps, and hydraulic systems.Diagnose and repair electronic control systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) devices.Install and upgrade electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers.Utilize Maintain-X to receive, respond, and document all work orders.Essential SkillsStrong background in electrical, mechanical, and programmable logic controls (PLCs).Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including working with 3-phase systems.Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Fanuc robotic arms.Skills in welding and fabrication.Experience with preventive maintenance and machine repair.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work independently on 3rd shift.Experience with industrial maintenance and automation systems.Knowledge of motors and mechanical troubleshooting.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work independently as the only technician on 3rd shift. You will be working with unique machinery specific to retreading semi-truck tires. The shift is from 10:00pm - 6:30am, Monday - Friday, with occasional overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
