Job Description
Maintains and repairs production equipment and building systems to meet production standards, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations. Independent judgment is required to plan, schedule, and prioritize work activities under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager or Shift Supervisor. Assists in developing programs and works toward predictive activities to support the needs of a growing organization.
Shift and Pay
Pay Range: $26-$30
All Shifts Available, Shift Differential Available for off shifts
ResponsibilitiesProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production to help minimize downtime while adhering to company safety standards and OSHA regulations.Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust for optimal performance.Oversee and assist outside vendors.Be knowledgeable of functions and performance levels of production/packaging equipment.Be knowledgeable in equipment operations to properly and efficiently make repairs, adjustments, and modifications.Make recommendations to improve or modify existing processes to prevent production delays and increase production efficiency.Assist the training department with operations training.Monitor and inventory various supplies, parts, and maintenance equipment.Follow all Food Safety and Quality policies and programs.Work hand in hand with production supervisors, lead persons, and operators to maintain the manufacturing of safe and quality foods.Essential Skills1-2 years minimum Industrial Maintenance experience.Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.Electrical troubleshooting (3-phase/high V systems).Willingness to learn from teammates (culture fit is extremely important).PLC troubleshooting.VFD and Motor controls.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $72800.00/yr.
