**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Perform maintenance of machinery, building, or equipment installation. Troubleshoot and repair existing or potential mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or other problems using blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and wiring diagrams. **Responsibilities** + Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines, facilities services, and conveyor systems. + Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments. + Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. + Layout, install, adjust, and maintain a variety of electrical equipment such as wiring, motors, switches, switchboards, and electrical components. + Diagnose and remedy trouble, determine necessary repairs, tear down and reassemble machines. + Perform repair of machinery under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. + Prepare mechanical maintenance shift reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and work order repairs. + Perform other assigned tasks as directed. **Essential Skills** + Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theory for the application of maintenance. + Ability to work from blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and wiring diagrams. + Ability to use common precision measurement gages, multimeters, and basic machine shop equipment. + Technical knowledge of automated production machine equipment and maintenance. + Physically able to pass spirometry exam for test fitting of respiratory equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred: High School graduate, or equivalent experience. + Experience in troubleshooting, mechanical, electrical, mechanical maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, electrical maintenance, industrial maintenance, multicraft maintenance. + Skills in installation, PLC troubleshooting, PLC programming, hydraulics, pneumatics, and blueprint reading. **Why Work Here?** After 60 days, you will be eligible for benefits and disability/life insurance. Training will be provided for 2 weeks on an 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday shift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Concord, North Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $59280.00 - $59280.00/yr.
