ROLE DEFINITION
As a Maintenance Technician you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems at the our site in Cleveland, OH. You will also perform equipment failure analyses, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, and prepare technical reports to document modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION
Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:
Complete preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and execute work orders in a safe and timely matterPerform training as needed on troubleshooting and repair techniques utilized with equipmentPerform various building maintenance activities-inside and outside the plantAdvise or recommend new or changed methods and equipment to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required; an Associate’s or Technical Degree in Machine troubleshooting and repair or related maintenance training and experience is preferred5+ years experience in maintenance, or mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical repair is required; experience working with automated equipment is preferredMust be able to work from blueprints, manuals, sketches and verbal instructions.Excellent time management skills required for this positionMust be willing and able to do the following, with or without accommodation:Lift and carry 50 pounds frequentlyCrouch, crawl, climb ladders, twist, and work at various heightsGood or corrected eye siteMust be willing to work shifts. Position will be primarily supporting the second shift at the facility.
