The Maintenance Technician Provides First Line Support for all Production Machinery and Assembly Machinery. Skilled Required for this role Include: • Preventative maintenance: Regularly inspecting and servicing machinery according to established schedules to identify potential issues before they become major problems. • Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnosing malfunctions on industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and performing necessary repairs by replacing parts or adjusting settings. • Machine installation and alignment: Installing new machinery and ensuring proper alignment and functionality. • Reading technical manuals: Interpreting technical documentation to understand equipment operation and repair procedures. • Basic welding and fabrication: Performing minor welding or fabrication tasks as needed for repairs. • Maintaining records: Documenting maintenance activities, including parts used, repair details, and equipment status. • Using: MTTR/MTBF, lean manufacturing, and root cause analysis.
