**Hiring for a Maintenance Technician!!** **PAY RATE** 30/hr on 1st AND 32/hr on overnight **Shifts Available** **7:00am - 7:00pm working 4 days on and 4 days off** **7:00pm - 7:00am working 4 nights on and 4 nights off.** **Job Type & Location** **This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland, Missouri.** **Job Description** + The Maintenance Technician (Technical Specialist) will be responsible for setups and maintenance of the production line for manufacturing home and garden products. + This role includes performing adjustments, preventative maintenance (PMs), and repairs on equipment to maximize runtime. + The technician will conduct mechanical troubleshooting and diagnose and repair all breakdowns, ensuring the quality of the product throughout the process. **Responsibilities** + Perform setups and changeovers of production lines and production machinery and equipment. + Conduct adjustments, PMs, and repairs on equipment to maximize runtime on the line. + Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on all breakdowns. + Perform mechanical troubleshooting on equipment. + Check the quality of the product throughout the production process. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment performing general maintenance and setting up and running machinery and/or packaging lines. + Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing packaging equipment. + Minimum 2 years of experience performing setups and adjustments on machinery or equipment; running and operating machinery and equipment. + Minimum 2 years of experience replacing motors and gearboxes. + Experience and ability to perform quality checks on machinery and product. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in high-volume production lines is preferred. + Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. + Basic electrical knowledge and experience, such as unwiring/rewiring a motor for repair/replacement, is preferred.
