Maintenance Technician Availability only on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Primary duties include providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatic and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair. What you need to succeed: *A basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems *A basic understanding of Preventative Maintenance programs * Knowledge/ experience with basic mechanical components and concepts (ie: Gears and Gearboxes, Bearings, Drive Shafts, Couplings, Sprockets, Chains). *Read and interpret mechanical drawings. * Working knowledge of power transmission equipment. *Familiar with pumps, both pneumatic and electric. *Some knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches. *Familiar with computers and Microsoft software. * Familiar with pumps, both air and electric. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner. * PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical and electrical aptitude.
