**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on production equipment according to established schedules. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. They will repair and replace faulty components, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic parts. The role involves conducting regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, and collaborating with production operators and other technicians to ensure smooth operations. Adherence to all safety procedures and regulations is mandatory, and maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential. The technician will also assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. Overtime or weekend work may be required as needed. Candidates must have their own tools.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment according to established schedules.

**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with preventive maintenance.
+ Mechanical skills.
+ Experience with specific types of manufacturing equipment (e.g., CNC machines, packaging equipment, robotics).
+ Knowledge of PLC programming or other automation systems.
+ Formal training in maintenance and repair techniques.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to assist production with equipment operational help as needed.
+ Capability to move forward on a repair or project without always having direct supervision.
+ Apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of issues.
+ Consult with personnel from other departments to determine issues and repair and maintain their equipment and systems.
+ Utilize welding skills to repair or adjust pipes and equipment.
+ Must excel in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Stone Mountain, Georgia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
