**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Pay up to $37/HR** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment malfunctions. The ideal candidate will utilize appropriate tools and techniques to ensure all machinery operates efficiently. This role involves maintaining documentation for both new and existing equipment, conducting regular inspections, and providing technical support for mechanical installations. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using appropriate tools and techniques. + Repair or replace defective components such as motors, belts, gears, or electrical wiring as needed. + Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacement of parts. + Provide assistance with mechanical installations as directed. + Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems on machinery. + Interface with equipment operators and maintenance staff to identify and resolve equipment issues. + Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to diagnose and repair problems. + Install and service hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, communications, and process control systems. + Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting ways to enhance equipment reliability and productivity. + Adhere to all safety standards and wear necessary personal protective equipment. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. + Experience with PLC troubleshooting and understanding ladder logic. + Ability to troubleshoot 24v-120v electronic systems and up to 480v electrical systems. + Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. + Expertise in troubleshooting rollers, gears, bearings, and shafts. + Welding skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong technical troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems. + Experience with 480v electrical troubleshooting. **Why Work Here?** We offer a clear growth plan with merit-based raises for skill acquisition. The initial shift schedule is Monday to Friday, with opportunities for additional overtime. The first shift is from 7 AM to 3 PM with every other weekend work required once permanent. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newnan, Georgia **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
