Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment, as well as perform general building maintenance. This role includes repairing and maintaining plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, designing and managing preventative maintenance programs, and installing new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment. + Perform general building maintenance. + Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Design, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for mechanical equipment. + Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements. + Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt. + Work directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators. + Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Excellent mechanical aptitude. + Familiarity with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics. + Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions provided by manufacturers. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings. + Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic. + Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus. + Self-starter with willingness to perform other related duties as required. + Ability to work overtime as required. + High school diploma or GED. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical, or other areas is a plus. + Prior manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing is a strong plus. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where you have the flexibility to choose your own hours within the standard 8-hour 2nd shift. For example, you could work from 4pm to midnight if needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
