**Job Title: CNC and Manual Machining Centers Technician$$$$$30 above**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC and Manual Machining Centers Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical troubleshooting and repair of a wide range of CNC and manual machining centers, ranging from machines manufactured in the 1950s to brand new equipment. You will also handle electrical troubleshooting and repair tasks, working with 24v to 480v 3-phase systems, PLCs, and more.
**Responsibilities**
+ Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of CNC and manual machining centers.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems ranging from 24v to 480v 3-phase, including fuses, light curtains, relays, sensors, proximity switches, and limit switches.
+ Perform PLC troubleshooting using a laptop to diagnose newer machines.
+ Conduct relay logic troubleshooting on older machines.
+ Repair 480V heating coils in heat treating furnaces.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical cabinets.
+ Troubleshoot and repair parts carousels that use switches and sensors.
+ Assist in repairing automated Fanuc robots and teach pendants.
+ Respond to work orders received through the maintenance shop computer.
+ Adhere to union rules by working hands-on only with electrical systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ CNC troubleshooting and repair experience.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills applicable to older, non-standard machines.
+ Fanuc robotics programming and teach pendant experience.
+ PLC programming knowledge.
+ Experience with Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs.
+ Experience with Fanuc controls.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge.
+ Greater than 1 year average job tenure.

**Work Environment**
Our work environment is clean and controlled for most tasks, although the heat treat room can be hot and some areas in the main production area may be dirtier due to the age of the equipment. The facility is well-lit, ensuring a safe and productive workspace. The maintenance team consists of 9 members, working a first shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Optional overtime is available on Saturdays and Sundays, with Sunday offering double-time pay.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Dayton, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.17 - $35.17/hr.
