**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our Facilities Industrial Repair & Maintenance team. This role involves applying acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. The complexity of the work is semi-routine, but there may be occasional deviations from accepted practices. You will follow established procedures for routine work and require instructions only on new assignments. **Responsibilities** + Perform scheduled maintenance and handle breakdowns of production equipment. + Assist with the setup and changeover of production lines as needed. + Fabricate necessary machine parts. + Assemble machines when required. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Mechanically repair conveyors, screw machines, presses, cold headers, and threaders. **Essential Skills** + Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting + Mechanical maintenance and repair + Preventive maintenance + Pneumatics and hydraulics + Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics + Fabrication of metal parts + Welding + PLC troubleshooting + Industrial maintenance experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 5-7 years of mechanical and electrical experience (preferred) + Experience in metals + Industrial mechanical troubleshooting and repair + Basic welding and cutting procedures + Correct use of machinist measurement tools + Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment mechanically + Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills + Strong sense of responsibility and ownership **Why Work Here?** We offer a brand new renovated facility, monthly 'employee appreciation days' during the summer, tuition reimbursement, a 5% bonus of earnings for hourly employees, 401K matching, accrued time off (credited for time on contract), holiday bonuses ranging from $100-$350 (applicable to contractors), reimbursement for steel-toed boots, and the option to order company uniforms so you don't have to ruin your own clothes. **Work Environment** This position is for the 2nd shift, from 2:15 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
