**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** This position involves working as a Maintenance Technician for a tier 1 supplier to Honda, specializing in headlights and tail lights. The role supports the injection molding department and requires diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical failures in machines. The company is growing rapidly and is expanding with a new plant. This position is in a manufacturing environment that is very clean, with some parts of the facility being climate-controlled, though most are not. Candidates should be comfortable working in varying temperatures. The company has a Japanese ownership and candidates should be comfortable working in a Japanese cultural environment. It is a large company, so candidates must be comfortable in a large organizational setting. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures in machines. + Support the injection molding department. + Perform electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, and preventive maintenance. + Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and VFDs. + Conduct welding and electrical troubleshooting. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. **Essential Skills** + Experience with 480 V, 220 V, and 110 V three-phase wiring. + Proficiency in AC/DC systems. + Knowledge of VFDs. + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. + Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with plastics and injection molding. + Specific PLC troubleshooting abilities. + Associate's degree in a related maintenance field. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $54000.00 - $58240.00/yr.
